Who writes the reviews and are they biased? |
We write the reviews here at www.software-superstore.com based on our internal product investigations and on our consumer's reviews that they have submitted. We also use external impartial news sites that publish their own product reviews on existing and new products to keep up to date with the market trends. We do earn a small commission from the third party sales agent when customers buy a product that were referred to a site by us, but the commissions are relatively the same for all of our products, so we are not biased towards one product because of the commission earnt. We also keep track of the products our customers are buying to assess if any products we advertise are not performing well. If this is the case, then the product is removed and replaced by a better performing one. We always feel that the customer knows best, and by monitoring their trends, you will always find the best deals here! |

What criteria do you consider when writing your reviews? |
We use a standard set of criteria that we feel can best evaluate a product. This common set of criteria applies to all our recommended sites. They are;
- Ease of use
- Reputation of the company developing / selling the product
- Quality of Tutorials and/or manuals
- Technical support
- Security of payments
- Free bonuses that are packaged with the product
Additionally for our recommended entertainment sites;
- Media availability
- Media quality
- Download speeds
- Site and software security i.e. viruses, spyware/adware, pop-ups
- Search speeds

How do you measure the rating for each product? |
The ratings we give, or "Popularity Rating", as shown for each product is calculated purely on customer popularity. Our top sellers make it to the top positions as we believe that our customers know best. Even though a product may not make our number 1 position, or may not even be our preference, it doesn't mean that we will give it a lower rating. We would be stupid to do this as we wouldn't make any money. The best products sell themselves.

How do I cancel my purchase and collect a refund? |
All our recommended products have a refund policy. You will have to check each vendors site for details on how to cancel your purchase and collect your refund. Each recommended site has different terms and conditions. We only provide product reviews and comparisons, we do not provide any refunds. |
